Pre-GCSE Preparation

Small, friendly groups with lots of support and social time

Maths & English Language

We are launching Pre-GCSE groups in Maths and English from September 2024. We want our students to be prepared for whatever they want to do after their time in our community. Most jobs and further education require at least 2 GCSE qualifications in Maths and English. We’re confident that all our students can move onto achieve these qualifications with some help in filling any gaps they may have in their learning and building their confidence.

We’ve put together a full day on a Tuesday that will allow them to cover everything on each of the key stage 3 Maths & English Language syllabi. Together we will work through these systematically, to make sure that students feel ready to progress onto their GCSE which may be done outside our learning community or inside if we have enough demand.

We’ll have small, friendly, classes with a maximum of 10 students meaning the students get lots of individual attention from their teachers.

There will be 2 hours dedicated to Maths (with Liva) and 2 hours for English Language (with Toria). There is also plenty of social time for the children to enjoy being together and at lunchtime they can go into town as long as we have parental permission.

Want to join us? We have a taster day coming up on Tuesday 11th June 9:30am -3:15pm. Reserve your place below:
